Danielle M. Briscoe is the founder of Hired and Higher, a career consulting company dedicated to helping professionals gain confidence, clarity, and competitive edge in today’s job market. With over a decade of experience in public workforce development, human resources, and recruitment, Danielle has supported more than 100 clients in securing employment, advancing in their careers, and showing up fully as themselves.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Texas Southern University. Danielle was professionally trained by the North Carolina Division of Employment Security, where she served as an Employment Consultant for four years before transitioning into HR and recruitment, a field she’s worked in for more than five years.

In 2015, Danielle launched her own résumé writing and career support business, bringing her insider knowledge of hiring and job placement directly to clients. She specializes in crafting custom résumés, prepping clients for high-stakes interviews, and offering real-world career advice through one-on-one coaching and live workshops.

Danielle is also the author of The Cheat Code: An Unfiltered, Unapologetic & Unhinged Career Guide—a bold, culturally relevant career manual created specifically for Black professionals and others navigating workplace spaces where they are often underestimated.
